Week 1- Introduction to Project and Starting Point

Since I was well aware that I would be spending most, if not all, of my time at home over the next few months I decided to create an entirely digital project. Something that wouldn't take up too much space in my already small living environment. 

I have always been fascinated by the world of coding and the effects algorithms have on our day-to-day lives, yet I have never even touched/learned any coding. So I thought this was as good a time as any to learn an entirely new skill, something totally outside of my comfort zone and see how far I can go with it. 

I started off with the absolute basics. Learning fundamental JavaScript, such as creating a code that randomly places circles on a background; drawing circles of random colours/sizes/opacities until they fill the page. It was a very basic script but did create some interesting outcomes when I messed around with the code. Attached are examples of works that I created during my first week of learning/experimentations.
