Week 21- Triptychs

This week I decided to attempt a triptych piece, meaning the outcomes that are spat out by the computer will be more refined and curated by myself, taking away a small part of the random element for the sake of visual interest & viewer experience. Although this idea contrasts against the very idea of the project itself, but I think it's helpful to experiment with the computer-human balance once in a while in order to explore potential outcomes. Moving forward I plan on tipping the scales the other way and allowing the computer to choose from a plethora of outcomes.

After sifting through many outcomes this is the triptych I ultimately decided on. I, as a human, for some indescribable reason felt that these 3 pieces complimented each other perfectly, whether that is because of colour, composition or some natural sense of form. As well as these things I thought the pieces were a great example of the relationship I have built with the algorithm and showcased the symbiotic nature of our project together.

The interesting thing I uncovered this week was the exploration of this natural sense of form, colour and composition that I have as a human which actually works with great contrast alongside the computer-generated outcomes. I'm happy with this curation of pieces and can actually envision them working well in an exhibition setting, they lead into one-another perfectly and I feel they will maintain the viewers interest/attention.
